AI integration services connect an AI model to the systems where your work already lives: the CRM, the ERP, the support desk, the database. The model is the easy part. The hard part is the read and write path, the permissions, and what happens when the model returns something wrong.

Buyers searching for the best AI integration services find two kinds of provider. Some are teams that build and run the integration for you. Others are platforms you configure yourself. This guide compares 6 options of both kinds on what each does, what it publishes about price, and who it fits. Every fact comes from the provider's own site, checked on 2026-11-07.

Disclosure: AY Automate wrote this guide and ranks itself first. We lead with ourselves because we build and monitor the integration as one project, and our entry lists its cons. If your team has engineers and wants to run its own workflows, a platform lower on the list is likely cheaper.

1. AY Automate, best overall for a built-and-monitored AI integration

AY Automate builds the integration between an AI step and your systems. The AI integration services page lists what is in scope: connectors to CRM, ERP, support, database and internal APIs, credential scoping, write validation and audit logging, retries and error alerts, and AI steps for extraction, classification, drafting or matching.

The design rule is that a bad model output becomes a rejected write, not a corrupt record. Nothing writes to production until it has run on samples. The process runs in five stages: a systems and access map in week 1, a read path in weeks 1 to 3, a write path with validation in weeks 3 to 5, failure testing in weeks 5 to 6, then go-live with monitoring, alerts and a runbook. An integration takes two to six weeks, scoped after a free 30-minute audit call.

Proof on the page is specific. At a loyalty platform, two engineers shipped personalization, segmentation and churn prediction inside the live product. At an ecommerce fulfillment company, agents handle pre-call research, CRM updates and lead scoring. Related work cards show 95% of marketing operations tasks automated and EUR 10K saved in fines on a compliance build. Elie Salame, COO of Adstronaut.io, calls the team "super fast". We work with 60+ companies and are a formal Claude partner.

Key features

  • Read path, then validated write path, tested against failures before launch
  • Error alerts, retries and idempotency built in from day one
  • Stack of n8n, TypeScript, Python, Claude, OpenAI, PostgreSQL and Supabase
  • Ongoing monitoring through automation maintenance support

Best for

  • Teams whose AI steps must write into a CRM or ERP without corrupting records
  • Operators who want one team to build it and keep it running

Pricing

  • A single focused workflow starts in the low four figures, with error handling, retries and monitoring included
  • Full systems are priced after an audit call, with scope driving cost, typically four to eight weeks
  • An engineer inside your team starts from $3K a month

Pros

  • Free 30-minute audit call with no pitch and no slides
  • A written scope and failure test report before go-live

Cons

  • Replacing or migrating a CRM or ERP is out of scope
  • We cannot integrate systems that have no programmatic access
  • No self-serve product, so you hire us instead of signing up

2. Celigo, best integration platform with AI included in every edition

Celigo is an integration platform with three editions: Standard, Professional and Enterprise. Standard has core integrations, multi-factor authentication, role-based access and standard SLAs. Professional adds API Builder, Lookup Cache, single sign-on, auditability and a sandbox. Enterprise adds maximum performance, governance features and the fastest SLAs.

Its pricing page says AI features come in all editions: Celigo Ora for building, troubleshooting and managing automations, AI agents, MCP Management for connecting AI tools, and a choice of LLM. A 30-day free trial gives unlimited platform access.

  • 30-day free trial

Pros

  • A published number for the entry plan
  • Month-to-month option

Cons

  • Annual editions have no public price
  • Extra connector costs make total spend hard to predict

5. Zapier, best for non-technical teams with published prices

Zapier publishes the most prices in this guide. The Free plan gives 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps. Pro starts at $19.99 a month billed annually for 750 tasks, or $29.99 billed monthly, and scales with task volume. Team starts at $69 a month billed annually for 2,000 tasks. Enterprise is sold through sales.

How we ranked these options

We ordered the list by fit for the reader this guide targets: a team that wants AI steps writing into business systems safely. We looked at whether a provider publishes a build process, how it prices, and what it states about validation and failure handling. We did not include satisfaction ratings or headcounts, because we could not verify them on the provider's own site. We rank ourselves first because we are the only entry here that builds and monitors the integration for you, and we say where a platform is the cheaper route.

How to choose AI integration services

1) Build it or configure it?

A platform gives you tools and leaves the build to your team. A service like AY Automate builds it. If you have an integration engineer on staff, a platform lower on the list is cheaper. If you do not, the platform fee is only part of the cost.

2) How risky are the writes?

Reading from a CRM is low risk. Writing to it is not. Ask how a provider validates AI output before it touches a record, and what happens when validation fails. For agents calling your tools, see our guide on AI API integration for agents.

3) What does the bill look like at your volume?

Zapier bills by task, n8n by execution, Boomi by usage and plan, Celigo and Workato by quote. Estimate your monthly volume first, then ask each for a number at that volume.

4) Who runs it after launch?

Integrations break when an API changes. Ask who monitors them and who answers the alert. Our workflow automation service covers build and upkeep together.

FAQ

What are AI integration services?

They connect AI models to your business systems, including the CRM, ERP and support tools, with rules for reading data, writing results and handling errors. Some providers build it for you. Others sell a platform you configure.

How much do AI integration services cost?

It varies by type. At AY Automate a single focused workflow starts in the low four figures, and full systems are priced after an audit call. Platforms range from Zapier's free plan to quote-only enterprise pricing at Celigo and Workato.

How long does an AI integration take?

AY Automate publishes two to six weeks per integration, with a full system typically four to eight weeks. A simple Zapier workflow can run the same day.

What is the difference between an AI integration agency and a platform?

An agency builds and maintains the integration. A platform gives you the tooling and your team does the build. The right pick depends on whether you have engineers.

Can AI write directly to my CRM safely?

Yes, if writes are validated and logged first. AY Automate's design turns a bad model output into a rejected write, and runs on samples before anything reaches production.

Which option is best for a small team?

Zapier has a free plan and n8n starts at EUR 20 a month. If the work involves writing into several systems, a built integration may cost less than the hours your team spends on it. Our AI integration services page explains the scope.

Do these providers support MCP?

Celigo lists MCP Management in all editions, Workato lists MCP servers from its Business MCP plan, and Zapier lists MCP basic access on every plan.

Does AY Automate replace my CRM or ERP?

No. Migrating or replacing a CRM or ERP is out of scope. We connect the systems you already run.
